This is something I posted in my myspace blog (I know, what’s that? Right?) two years ago. This will give you an idea of where I come from! Enjoy!
Last night a few friends and I were helping my parents move. We took a much needed break for some Tom Wahls. While we were eating, Howie turned to his wife and said, “We need to take the dogs out.”
My father turned to me and went, “ruf ruf.”
I gave him this crazy, curious, and dare I say incredulous look. He then said to me rather annoyed, “I am not just barking like a dog at you. Howie just made me think of that song, Who Let The Dogs Out.”
Through my laughter I said, “Dad! They don’t say ruf ruf in the song!”
His response was, “They don’t? OK, so maybe I have never heard that song before.”
Oh man. That man makes me laugh!!!
